Welcome to CloudCash ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website (www.cloudcash.cloud) and our AWS cost optimization services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
CloudCash provides an autonomous cloud cost intelligence platform designed to scan Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments to identify idle, orphaned, or unoptimized resources. Depending on your subscription plan, the Service provides reporting capabilities and/or automated remediation features.
2. AWS Integration and Access Requirements
To use the Service, you must connect your AWS account using an AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) Cross-Account Role. We explicitly prohibit the use or sharing of static AWS Access Keys or Secret Keys.
- Free Tier Access: Requires an IAM role with strictly
ReadOnlyAccess. We cannot and will not modify your infrastructure. - Professional/Enterprise Tier Access: To utilize automated remediation ("One-Click Fix"), you must explicitly grant our IAM role permissions to modify and delete specific resources (e.g., terminating EC2 instances or deleting EBS volumes).
You remain entirely responsible for the security of your AWS environment and the IAM roles you provision. You may revoke our IAM role access at any time through your AWS Console.
3. AWS Marketplace Subscriptions
If you subscribe to CloudCash via the AWS Marketplace, your billing and subscription management will be handled directly by Amazon Web Services in accordance with your AWS Customer Agreement. Any disputes regarding billing must be resolved through AWS Support or your AWS account management team.
4. Remediation Feature and Liability Waiver
Please read this section carefully.
The CloudCash "One-Click Fix" or automated remediation feature executes destructive actions on your AWS infrastructure (including, but not limited to, terminating instances, deleting volumes, and releasing IP addresses).
- While CloudCash attempts to create safety snapshots where applicable prior to deletion, we do not guarantee the integrity, completeness, or immediate availability of those snapshots.
- You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for reviewing all flagged "Zombie" or "Orphaned" resources prior to executing a remediation action.
- CloudCash, its developers, and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any data loss, system downtime, business interruption, or financial damages resulting from resources deleted via our platform, whether executed manually by you or via automated policies.
5. Service Uptime and Availability
We strive to ensure the Service is available 24/7. However, our platform relies heavily on the availability and responsiveness of the AWS API. We are not responsible for delays, scan failures, or inability to remediate resources caused by AWS API throttling, AWS regional outages, or your own account-level rate limits.
6. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
For direct subscriptions outside of the AWS Marketplace:
- Subscriptions are billed automatically on a recurring basis.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time via the CloudCash Dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
- We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied, you may request a refund for your most recent payment by contacting support within 30 days of the charge.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its dashboard design, scanning algorithms, code, branding, and logos, are the intellectual property of CloudCash. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included software.
8. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service or for legal/regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes via email or a prominent notice in the CloudCash dashboard prior to the changes taking effect.
